Hello and welcome!
When i first became of driving age, i was stoked that my parents were going to get me a car. I mean, isn’t it ever young adults dream to have there parents get them a car? It sure was mine. I can remember the day like it was yesterday. But my thoughts not only turned to the car, but the WHEELS that were going to be on the car. If you are going to drive a car, you have to go in style, right?
So i wanted to make sure that i had the nicest tires and tire accessories because that was important to me. Looking back, there was not a whole lot to choose from as they are today, but there was enough to chose from. I obviously wanted to get the nice rims that always make a car stand out. That was a must.
Then there was always the matter with safety. This is where my father came into the picture and gave me the lowdown. He said that i need to check the tires for the pressure to make sure that there was enough in there. This i always have ingrained in my mind because not dong this single thing can get you in a tizzy. it amazes me how many people DON’T do this. But i do.
My father also mentioned not abusing the tires by not going over potholes and doing any excessive skidding. Now i’ll be the first to admit that i didn’t follow this rule all the time. I mean, come on, i was a teenager back then and i had to have some fun, didn’t i? But i didn’t do enough to completely obliterate it. Maybe partially obliterate it, but not completely ; ).
So i figured that since i was such a tire lover that i would create this blog to let all the tire lovers out there what there is to choose from. And there is a lot these days.
